Eleanor Isabel Misner
MISNER, Eleanor Isabel – Promoted to the loving arms of her Lord and Saviour at the Country Terrace Long Term Care Home in Komoka, Ontario, on Friday, September 26th, 2025, in her 94th year. Loving mother and grandmother of the late Douglas MacDonald (1970) and Pastor Michael MacDonald (Liliane) of London, their children Melissa, Melanie & Paul. Eleanor will be lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews, and long-time friends in Norfolk County. Predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Leslie Misner (1991) and her former husband Maynard Douglas MacDonald (2014). Predeceased by her parents Joseph Thomas & Mildred (Nickerson) Thomas.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Eleanor with her family at the FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 1997 Dundas St. E., London, Ontario, on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, from 10:00–11:00 a.m. Eleanor’s home going service will follow visitation in the Forest Lawn Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Roberts officiating. Interment to follow at Port Dover Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Those wishing to donate in memory of Eleanor are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society and donations can be made at www.forestlawnmemorial.ca.
