Donald Maurice “Moe” Plastow
PLASTOW, Donald Maurice “Moe”—It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Maurice Plastow, fondly known as Moe. Predeceased by his beloved wife Shirley in 2018. Moe leaves behind a legacy of kindness, hard work and cherished memories. Father to Shelly (Chris) Sherwood and Sherry (James) Roberts and step-father to Holly (Shawn) Balcomb. Grandfather to Catherine, Ethan, Isabella, Jazmine, Jenna, Shelby and Dylan. A dedicated electrician for over 50 years. Moe was known for his work ethic and camaraderie with his fellow union members. He took great pride in sharing stories of his years on the job and the friendships he built along the way. Moe found joy in the simple pleasures, reading, walking his dogs, bike riding, a good game of chess and dining out. He will be remembered for his strength, kindness, and storytelling spirit. Moe’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the community at Senior Supports, the Alzheimer’s Society, the staff of the Simcoe day program and the compassionate caregivers at Hardy Terrace. A private family celebration will take place as per Moe’s wishes. Arrangements have been entrusted to THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, Port Dover, 519-583-1530.
