Well-known in the community, Emma couldn’t go anywhere without running into a friend and having a chat. She worked for many years at the Norfolk Fruit Growers Association retiring in 1990 and was an active member of the Simcoe Seniors Centre. Slow to anger and quick to laugh, Emma was usually the last to leave a party and enjoyed Bingo and Casino trips. She was a fan of the Blue Jays, a good card game and making new friends. Emma truly enjoyed her time there – even the food – and genuinely included the staff in her circle of friends. Emma found the positive in all situations, no matter what life brought her way.
