Dover Wharf opens sales and design trailer

THE opening of the new condominium building on Harbour Street is a year and a half away.
Real estate broker Leslie Lee of Chase Realty Inc. says the ‘Dover Wharf’ project at the Port Dover harbourfront “is planned for completion as early as December 2018.”
According to the Simcoe-based realtor the black trailer now on the site will be “spiffied up and transformed into a sales/design centre in about a week’s time.”
There will be samples of interior finishes and design features on display. She informed The Maple Leaf there are currently six units available for sale “in this gorgeous 48 unit luxury building with indoor parking.”
She says buyers of units are from Port Dover and many other communities and ages are generally between 30 and 70 years. Ms. Lee commented “there is a really nice mix of people” adding “this is not a seniors building.”
Of the units still available the most costly is $507,000 having 1141 sq. ft. on the third floor with a water view.
The least costly unit is listed at $337,500 being 1001 sq. ft. on the second floor with a ‘city view.’ The most spacious unit has 1248 sq. ft., the smallest has 879 sq. ft.
The broker noted that prices listed are base prices. HST, parking and options are extra. Realtor Leslie Lee reported she will be available in that trailer mostly by appointment.
Site preparation is reported to be “nearing completion.” Engineering for the project is by M C Engineering (Max Morrison) of Simcoe. They were not available for comment by press time.
The steel sheet piling for installation along the waterfront has been stored onsite for some time.
